Midnight Goldens
True2Gold began breeding Midnight Goldens 2 years ago.

These beauties have added height and an even silkier, thicker coat, along with the absolutely perfect disposition. They are more mellow than a Golden Retriever, both in activity and temperament, with a heightened awareness of protection, yet still very docile to their family and friends.

All About our Midnight Goldens
Quite by surprise, two years ago, genetics gave us our first Midnight Golden from our most gorgeous dam, Gabriela. (Gabby).
​
By adding Great Pyrenees into the bloodlines we produced a black Golden with an extra thick coat. A Black Beauty! We call her BB.
​
We then bred BB to a jet black, half Golden, half Newfoundland.
​
This combination added height and an even silkier, thicker coat, along with the absolutely perfect disposition of being more mellow than a Golden Retriever, both in activity and temperament, with a heightened awareness of protection, yet still very docile to their family and friends. They are the look-outs, sensing visitors, both welcome and unwelcome. They will let you know which one the visitor is.
